Puppy Foundations
Give your puppy the best possible start—for a lifetime of confidence, connection, and adventure.
Service Description
The first few months of your puppy's life are some of the most important they'll ever experience. This is when they're learning how to navigate the world, build confidence, communicate with people, and develop habits that can last a lifetime. Our Puppy Foundations Program is designed to help you build those skills from the very beginning using relationship-based training, reinforcement, and real-world experiences that prepare your puppy for everyday life. Because raising a puppy isn't about creating a perfectly obedient dog. It's about raising a confident, resilient companion who loves learning and trusts the person at the other end of the leash. Is Puppy Foundations Right for You? This program is perfect for puppies and their families who want to build strong foundations from the very beginning. Whether you're bringing home your very first puppy or adding another dog to your family, we'll help you navigate those exciting (and sometimes overwhelming!) first months with confidence. Together we'll work on building the skills that matter most for everyday life—not just today, but for years to come. What We'll Work On 🐾 Building engagement and focus 🐾 Socialization done the right way 🐾 Confidence around new people, places, sounds, and environments 🐾 Loose leash walking foundations 🐾 Name recognition and recall games 🐾 Appropriate play and bite inhibition 🐾 Handling for grooming and veterinary care 🐾 Settling and relaxation 🐾 Crate training and alone-time foundations 🐾 Preventing common behaviour challenges before they start We'll also spend plenty of time answering your questions, because sometimes the biggest challenge isn't training the puppy-it's figuring out what to do next! More Than Obedience At Stay Wild Dogs, we believe puppies learn best through curiosity, play, exploration, and positive experiences. Rather than focusing on perfect sits and downs, we focus on building the life skills that create confident, adaptable dogs. That means helping your puppy learn to: • Feel safe in new environments • Recover from surprises • Make thoughtful choices • Enjoy learning • Build trust with their family Because obedience is only one small part of raising an incredible dog. Confidence, resilience, and connection are what truly last a lifetime. Ready to start your journey? Let's give your puppy the best start!
